I'm Jen - it's lovely to meet you :) I'm the maker behind Wee Chickadee Wool Co. My hand dyed fiber is inspired by a love for nature and time spent in wild places. I'm a big ol' nature nerd, a certified Oregon Naturalist, U.S. National Forest volunteer, and long distance hiker who loves to sleep in my tent whenever I get the chance.

I fell in love with dyeing in 2013 and having been dyeing yarn and fiber ever since. Many of my colorways are one of a kind and unique. In fact, quite a few of them are not repeatable and will only appear in the shop for a limited time. My dyeing process is very relaxed and organic, often with unexpected and delightful results. I take a lot of care in crafting each braid of wool because I want them to enhance your creative experience too!
